GIM PLACE PRESCHOOL

Welcome to GIM PLACE Preschool!

GIM Place Preschool has been serving our community since 2003! We are so thankful for how God has been leading and guiding our school, providing wonderful teachers, and being able to play a small part in our students' lives. Our goal at GIM Place Preschool is to prepare children for the next stage of their lives through the development of motor abilities, thinking skills, and healthy interactions with their peers. We are a Korean American dual-language immersion program, centered around Christian values. Keep reading to learn more about our school!

ONE STEP AHEAD

GIM Place Preschool adheres to a hands-on approach of early childhood education. We expose children to different environments and various learning experiences to allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave our preschool, they will be fully prepared for the next stage of their lives.

Vision Statement

Vision Statement

We believe children should be children. We believe children should explore their surroundings and God-given resources- nature. Children should be able to freely expand their creativity and play is one of the greatest tools for early childhood development. Children learn through play, making connections with the real world. GIM Place offers that space to our children, through guided play, respecting individuality and also the ability to interact with one another as a group.

Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.

Enrichment classes

Dance and Movement

“Research shows a link between cognitive development and movement, meaning children need opportunities to move so they can learn.” Jacqueline Amor - Zitzerlberger, MA

Bible

We hold weekly Bible Lessons so children learn about the word of God and memorize scripture as well.

Taekwondo

Our children learn TaeKwondo with Taekwondo Spirit team. Masters and instructors help children develop their gross motor skills.

Music

Music is essential in early childhood development where children are exposed to different sounds and instruments through our amazing music teacher who is a producer, professor, conductor, director and a professional for over 20 years.

Our Curriculum

Faith Based

Our curriculum is faith based. In every learning opportunity we have, we share about God’s love to our children.

Play Based Learning

We are privileged to have a beautiful campus that help us enjoy nature and outdoor activities. Outdoor play help children build confidence, promote creativity and imagination. We teach children to be responsible when it comes to nature, we encourage children with physical activity, and last but not least, outdoor play helps to reduce stress and fatigue.

Hands on Learning

Hands on learning means children learn using their five senses, by touching, feeling and experiencing different materials improving their cognitive skills, fine motor skills and social skills.
